Nobel Prize winners among the top-cited scientists
How many Nobel Prize winners are top-cited scientists?
411 Nobel laureates are in the 2025 list of top-cited scientists, the annual ranking often called the top 2% scientists list: 54% of the 765 people ever awarded the prize in physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine or economic sciences. 327 of them rank in the global top 100,000 by composite citation score (c, excluding self-citations). A laureate can be missing when their Scopus profile is split or their name spelt differently: tell us of one we have missed.
